Well, here's a dose of heavy music news to follow up your Thanksgiving weekend. Two of Maynard James Keenan's bands - Tool and A Perfect Circle - have been tapped to perform at the same music festival in 2018.

That festival is Rock on the Range, scheduled for May 18, 19 and 20 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Tool will perform a headlining set at the festival, as well as Alice in Chains and Avenged Sevenfold.

Other performers slated for the 12th annual festival include Stone Temple Pilots, Stone Sour, Breaking Benjamin, Bullet for My Valentine, Godsmack, Three Days Grace, the Used, Black Veil Brides, Greta Van Fleet, I Prevail, Red Sun Rising, Trivium, Underoath and Asking Alexandria, as well as many more.

All in all, the lineup features nearly 60 bands on three stages. Nice.

"We are looking forward to returning to Rock On The Range as a headliner this year and rocking out with all of you," Alice In Chains' Jerry Cantrell said in a statement. "Bring It!”

"Rock On The Range is the undisputed champion of American rock festivals...It’s an honor to play at the top of the bill, and we cannot wait to see everyone in May," M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold added.
