This year’s edition of Sammy Hagar’s legendary annual birthday bash will air in theaters next week for one night only. The star-studded concert film, titled “Red Til I’m Dead: Sammy Hagar’s Rock-N-Roll Birthday Party,” will be broadcast on December 5 in select theaters nationwide.

Held earlier this year at Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the multi-night event featured performances from Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, Jason Bonham, Toby Keith, Eddie Money, Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, and Bob Weir, among others. The film will feature performance highlights and party footage from the spectacle.

“I’ve been celebrating my birthday in Cabo for almost 30 years, and I couldn’t begin to pick a favorite year,” said Hagar, who turned 70 on October 13. ”I’ve had hundreds of friends who’ve come down to perform and party. Each year is packed with so many insane collaborations and moments that I’m just happy that the rest of the world can finally get in – and celebrate alongside us as it unfolds on the big screen.”
