Stone Temple Pilots have unleashed the details of their debut headlining tour with a new lead vocalist, Detroit's Jeff Gutt. The tour will set off March 2 in Santa Clarita, California, and run through a March 17 show in Billings, Montana. Tickets for the dates will go on sale Friday (Dec. 8) at StoneTemplePilots.com.
"We are thrilled to see all of you and share in the music that belongs to all of us," guitarist Dean DeLeo said of the upcoming outing in a statement.
While Stone Temple Pilots will play a good number of headlining shows in 2018, the band is also slated to appear at some festivals, including Rock on the Range, Welcome to Rockville and Fort Rock.
Stone Temple Pilots officially introduced Gutt as their new lead singer during a private show in Los Angeles in November. The day after the announcement, they unveiled a new song called "Meadow." The guys are scheduled to release new album in 2018.
Gutt follows Stone Temple Pilots original vocalist Scott Weiland and second vocalist Chester Bennington, both of whom have passed away.
