The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has revealed its bill of 2018 inductees, and they include a handful of influential classic rockers, as well as a jazz-soul singer and pianist.

The 2018 Rock Hall inductees in the Performers category include Bon Jovi, the Cars, the Moody Blues, Dire Straits and Nina Simone. The 33rd annual ceremony will take place Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Public Auditorium in Cleveland, the same location as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

The choices are consistent with the Rock Hall fan poll, which was conducted through early December. Bon Jovi, The Moody Blues, Dire Straits and the Cars were the top four picks in the Rock Hall's fan poll inducating fans' favorite nominated artists.

In addition to the aforementioned artists being inducted into the Rock Hall, Sister Rosetta Tharpe will be inducted in conjunction with picking up the Award for Early Influence.

Prior to the 2018 ceremony, a run of events will take place at the Hall of Fame and Museum. An exhibit featuring the new inductees will open on April 7.

Rock Hall nominees that didn't make the list of inductees this year include Judas Priest, Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, Kate Bush, the Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, MC5, J. Geils Band, LL Cool J, the Meters, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Link Wray and the Zombies.

General public tickets for the 2018 Rock Hall ceremony will go on sale sometime in 2018. HBO will air a special with highlights from the show a few weeks after the ceremony.
